Sterling Hunter Jumpers Riding Stable
Do you want to learn about horses, or are you looking for some fun activities to enjoy with other horse people? You've found the right place! Welcome to the Sterling Horsemanship Club, a soon to be chapter of the National Old People's Riding Club (OPRC)! Despite it's comical name, the mission of the OPRC is to promote safe and enjoyable horsemanship through educational and social activities to anyone over the age of 21, no matter their skill level.
Don't have a horse? Brand new to horses? That's okay! OPRC and our club happily welcome those who are just getting started, both rider and non-rider alike. If you don't have a horse, you are welcome to enjoy our wonderful team of lesson horses during club activities. Members are strongly encouraged, but not required, to take regular riding lessons here at Sterling.
The club will meet regularly for riding and non-riding clinics, field trips, special events, trail rides, parties, etc. Additionally, club members will work on their riding and horsemanship skill progression as outlined by the OPRC. Please visit the National website for additional information, www.oldpeoplesridingclub.org . The annual membership fee for the club is only $25! Please note that additional fees are charged for some events and for riding lessons. Please contact us if you would like more information on becoming a part of our club!
