Summer Camps-
Daily private riding lessons on safe, reliable school horses
Horsemanship lessons taught through fun, hands-on activities (such as "Paint-a-Pony", colors/markings scavenger hunt, "Put-the-Part-on-the-Pony", tack race and much more)
The opportunity to learn many aspects of horse-care, from grooming to first-aid to stable care to basic tack and horse anatomy
Themed weekly events
Horse-themed arts and crafts
Weekly field trips ( to a tack shop to learn about tack, to a veterinary clinic to learn some anatomy and first-aid, etc.)
Mounted games
Mounted quadrille
Costume making and presentation (at an end of the week show, which parents are invited to in order to see how much their children have learned!)
Themed parties
**All activities are not only supervised by SHJ's trainer Erin but also our great team of responsible and experienced counselors (who are Erin's dedicated, older students).**
Prices-
Full Day Camps - $275.00 / week
Camp Hours are 9AM-5PM
Half Days are available, any 4 hours for $150.00 / week

Summer Camp Q & A
**Things your kids will need to bring-**
Long pants (jeans or breeches will do fine)
Practical boots with low heels
Packed lunch and a snack if your child would like one
Plenty of water (preferably in one bottle or jug)
Sunscreen
A change of clothes (such as a pair of shorts and some tennis shoes; to wear after all the work with horses is completed)
A helmet (if your child doesn't have one we can provide one)
